Scotland-based i-design, creator of the atmAd ATM advertising platform, has appointed self-service equipment and technology provider LD Systems to be its atmAd U.S. reseller in the United States and Puerto Rico.
"One of the main obstacles for progressing ATM advertising in the U.S has been the absence of a solution that delivers both internal and third party campaigns seamlessly across multiplatform environments, coupled with the lack of industry expertise to sell the ATM space to blue-chip third-party advertisers," said Cliff Dean, LD Systems' chief executive. "This has been easily overcome by atmAd, which is already successfully delivering third-party revenues for banks in other territories, so LD Systems are pleased to be able to deliver this solution to the U.S. market."
With atmAd, financial institutions can deliver marketing, internal and third-party advertising campaigns through their ATM networks.
Established in 1991, i-design now provides ATM advertising services on four continents.
LD Systems will manage ongoing client relationships for i-design in the United States.
"We see our agreement with LD Systems as a significant move toward enabling banks within the USA to benefit from the enhanced customer communication opportunity presented by atmAd and, furthermore, to realize the revenue potential of their self-service channel via atmAd's proven relevancy and effectiveness for blue-chip third-party advertisers," said Ana Stewart, i-design's CEO.
In the United Kingdom, atmAd is used by British Airways, Orange, Hewlett Packard, McCain and Unilever, Warner Brothers and T-Mobile.
