Hyde resigns as Greenland reorganizes

April 15, 2002

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Greenland Corp. (OTCBB:GLCP) chief executive officer Kip Hyde Jr. announced his resignation on April 15 as the automated financial services equipment maker restructures its executive staff.

Greenland President Thomas Beener will assume the title of chief executive officer while E.P. Gene Cross has been named chairman of the board of directors.

Hyde, who also resigned his seat on the Greenland board, did not disclose a reason for his resignation. Beener, in a news release, said Hyde planned to spend more time with his family.

The changes are taking place just two months after Greenland acquired data communications and network project management firm Paradigm Cabling Systems (See story: Greenland adds to portfolio). Greenland markets a line of check-cashing and financial services kiosks.
