NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) says that HP has joined its Partner Information Xchange (PIX) program, cementing the companies' ability to partner on the development of advanced ATM solutions.
According to a news release, Diebold's PIX program seeks to improve communication between Diebold and other financial industry providers to ensure easier implementation of new products, and to create better solutions for customers. Partner benefits include special access to Diebold technology and experts, and an inside look at today's products and those still in development.
Chartered to serve as Diebold's central point of contact for industry suppliers, PIX has grown to more than 85 members, including ACI Worldwide, Concord EFS, Mosaic Software, NYCE Corporation, Phoenix Interactive Design, S2 Systems, Visa DPS and XP Systems.
"As the industry becomes more competitive, financial service providers face some challenging business issues in responding quickly to consumer demands," said David Bucci, senior vice president, Diebold Customer Solutions Group. "The PIX program helps bridge the gap by providing its members with information and resources to develop powerful new solutions."
