HP, BPC enter payments solution partnership

May 9, 2014

BPC Banking Technologies, a provider of open system payment solutions, has entered an agreement with HP under which HP will offer the BPC SmartVista payments suite to customers worldwide on an outsourced basis.

SmartVista is an integrated suite of applications covering every aspect of electronic payments processing, according to a BPC news release. The solution supports authorization switching and routing, full ATM and POS management, card management, fraud prevention, card personalization and production, and more.

BPC and HP already have joint customers ranging in size from niche players with small ATM networks to organizations running tens of thousands of ATMs. One of the largest switch deployments in the world runs SmartVista on HP processing in excess of 1,500 TPS at peak volume.

"This partnership increases our market opportunity by further opening up opportunities that require a lead systems integrator, hosting company or processor solution," said Daragh O'Byrne, CMO at BPC Banking Technologies. "We are delighted to take our partnership to the next level and we are certain that, together, we will offer a uniquely compelling proposition."

"By working together, HP and BPC will offer a compelling payments solution, with the right global delivery model to modernize the industry," said Katherine Garcia, SVP of HP enterprise services.
