June 12, 2012

Payments processor Heartland Payment Systems announced that, for the third straight year, it has been named to the Fortune 1000 list of America's largest companies, ranked by revenues.

With 2011 revenues of nearly $2 billion, Heartland ranked No. 926 on the 2012 list, improving from its 2010 debut on the Fortune 1000 list at No. 954.

"Being recognized on the Fortune 1000 list for the third year in a row is a testament to the remarkable efforts of our nearly 3,000 employees who work diligently to provide superior service to our customers," said Bob Carr, Heartland's chairman and chief executive officer. "Additionally, Heartland's commitment to building our business through fair dealing and transparency, as we've been doing since our inception 15 years ago, demonstrates that honesty and integrity still go a long way in the business world."
