Hancock Bank, a Gulfport, Miss.-based financial institution, is offering customers mobile banking supplied by NCR Corp.
The bank’s customers will be able to check balances, pay bills and transfer funds between accounts, said Jeff Dudash, an NCR spokesperson.
NCR, which is based in Duluth, Ga., is providing mobile banking for Hancock Bank as a hosted, software-as-a-service solution, which helped the bank deploy the solution faster and easier. Owners of iPhone and BlackBerry mobile phones can access the bank’s mobile banking service, Dudash said. mFoundry is NCR's mobile-banking techology partner, Dudash said.
The solution also is scalable, allowing the bank to pay for only what it needs and add more capabilities and bandwidth when it is ready to grow.
The agreement extends NCR’s relationship with Hancock Bank. NCR supplies the financial institution ATMs and provides online banking services. NCR branded the services in Hancock’s name.
NCR is the world’s largest ATM manufacturer based on annual shipments.
