Gunnebo Security Group and cash management software provider Transtrack International have teamed up to offer an integrated solution intended to lower the cost of cash, increase operating margins, and improve security for companies in the cash supply chain, according to a news release.

The integration of Transtrack CashWebCommunity software, which aims to improve efficiencies in the supply chain, with Gunnebo CashControl software and cash handling products will offer clients tools to monitor and optimize their cash handling machines from coin deposit units to ATMs, the companies said.

The software determines the most efficient balance between using CIT services and holding cash, processes pre-crediting and settlement transactions, and takes care of reconciliation. In addition, it facilitates communication between companies and their supply chain partners through a Web-enabled application that allows data sharing in real time.

"The combined offering from Gunnebo and Transtrack of the best software and security solutions elevates technology for cash businesses to the next level," Transtrack CEO Ronald van Vliet said in the release. "The global Gunnebo footprint allows us to provide a global product with local service."

"Throughout the world we have been helping our retail and banking customers to optimize and secure their cash handling processes for decades," said Patrick van Aart, cash handling director for EMEA at Gunnebo. "Now through this partnership we can look at these processes from more than one angle and provide combined expertise, which adds value and lowers costs for our clients."
