GRGBanking looks at Vietnam's banking market

GRGBanking Equipment Company Ltd., China's leading ATM supplier, held Vietnam Day in the Saigon Opera House on May 13th in Ho Chi Minh City.

During the one-day event, seven speakers from six nations delivered speeches on various topics, offering the Vietnamese banking industry up-to-date insights into the hot topics of today's banking world.

Tim Charlton, editor and chief of Asian Banking and Finance magazine, was the event's guest speaker. Charlton presented a survey specifically prepared for the event. Attendees included officials from banks, cash-in-transit companies and the news media.

Dr. Eduardus Vaigauskas, general manager of GRGBanking HK, said he hopes the conference will prove to be more than a one-time event.

"I hope that it will make a substantial contribution to finding the best practical ways and trigger discussion of how the Vietnamese banking market will look in the future," he said.
