GRG International Limited, which distributes ATMs and other equipment for GRG Banking Equipment Co. Ltd., yesterday announced that it had signed an open-ended agreement with Talaris Inc. to provide installation, field service and technical support.
"This alliance helps set up GRG to provide high level consistent service and back up as it rolls out ATMs in new U.S. deals," said Brian Kett, executive director of GRG International, which has its North American business operations in Pass Christian, Miss. The company's corporate headquarters is in Melbourne, Australia.
"Talaris has long been known as a premier provider of installation, field service and technical support for banking products and its expertise will strengthen GRG's product offerings to U.S. banks and other financial institutions," Kett said.
Talaris, Inc. provides cash-handling equipment and software solutions to financial institutions, retailers and governments. The company is based in Lisle, Ill., a Chicago suburb. Talaris, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Talaris Ltd.
"All of our Value Added Resellers also provide complete installation and service coverage within their own sales and service areas, however, Talaris provides complete national coverage," Kett added. GRG will have access to more than 250 field service and support technicians.
GRG International is a partnership between Global Cash Services and GRG Banking of Guangzhou, China. It is the largest ATM manufacturer in China. GRG International has exclusive rights to distribute GRG ATMs in the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom and Ireland. The company has non-exclusive rights to distribute GRG ATMs and other equipment in Mexico, South Africa and India.
Earlier this year, GRG announced a marketing programto assist banks and other financial institutions in upgrading their ATM networks.
