January 3, 2006

GUANGZHOU, China - GRG Banking's encrypted PIN pad has been certified by Visa, according to a news release. GRG Banking is expected to apply the certified PIN pad on all ATM new models.

GRG Banking's EPP has adopted the latest high-speed secure microcontroller, which supports encryption requirements of different countries. The EPP supports dual control-split-knowledge procedures and RSA-based remote key load. It is able to detect different kinds of attacks, including the application of chemical solvents, keyboard dismantling, security-model dismantling and splitting drilling, and can effectively prevent attacks by logical analysis.

The EPP also is designed to immediately self-destruct to protect information disclosure.

"With Visa Approval PED and many other security certifications such as EMV and UL, now as a customer you can be more confident with our products," said Youyong Zhao, GRG Banking's chairman.
