OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- Greenland Corporation announced an agreement with a leading Texaco-Star Mart franchisee to test its SmartCash ATM.
Installed Aug. 16, the machine will be used to evaluate the various services offered by the SmartCash ATM, including payroll check cashing and money order dispensing. According to Greenland, other Texaco-Star Mart franchisees have expressed an interest in the SmartCash ATM and are awaiting the results of the testing prior to ordering machines.
"We are obviously very excited about this opportunity because of the significant potential for volume purchases that it represents through the validation and acceptance of the SmartCash ATM by users, store owners and potential purchasers," said Lou Montulli, CEO of Greenland Corporation.
Greenland, which manufactures the SmartCash ATM, plans to include additional services with the machine in the future, including phone cards and advance payday loans.
