Glory, a provider of cash technology solutions, has announced that Millenniumbcp, one of the largest private banks in Portugal with more than 600 branches nationwide, has begun deployment of Glory TellerInfinity assisted service solutions as part of a Customer Experience 2.0 program. The project follows a successful pilot by the bank, according to a press release.
Millenniumbcp is the first bank in Portugal to offer assisted service to customers at its branches, and the program is part of the bank's new customer-centric branch strategy, the release said.
TellerInfinity enables the migration of a wide range of staff-supported transactions — including coin, bulk cash and check deposits, as well as check cashing — away from the teller counter.
The Customer Service 2.0 initiative, when completed, is expected to deliver most complex transactions through assisted service technology in most full-service branches in their network.
