LEAWOOD, Kan. and MUNICH, Germany -- Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG (HVB), the second largest bank in Germany, plans to pilot cash management services provided by Euronet Worldwide at up to 60 of its 1,000 ATMs.

HVB Germany, which has 3.3 million retail customers across Germany, will begin coordinating the cash management pilot at 24 to 60 ATMs with Euronet this month, according to a news release. Euronet's services include forecasting cash usage and managing cash logistics.

"HVB Germany is excited about the cost saving and operational improvement opportunities that Euronet's pilot program offers," said Manfred Koeckhuber, HVB director of Cash Service Systems, in the release.
