DALLAS -- Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc.'s Series 8000 ATMs are now certified for access within the MoneyMaker and Money Belt EFT networks, both owned and operated by Genpass Technologies.
The two networks are used by more than 1,000 financial institutions and include 20,000 ATMs processing more than 360 million transactions annually.
In a news release, Neill Collins, vice president of financial systems sales at Fujitsu, said the certification complements Fujitsu's focus on delivering ATMs that can dispense items such as stamps, gift cards and monthly statements, in addition to cash.
Fujitsu Series 8000 ATMs have also recently been certified on the eFunds Corp., Metavante Corp. and Midwest Payment Systems (MPS) networks. Available as off-premise, in-lobby and through-the-wall units, the ATMs are based on Microsoft Windows 2000 for full Web enablement capabilities, comply with proposed Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and incorporate Triple Data Encryption Standard (DES) security.
