Genisys Credit Union installs deposit automation ATMs from Diebold

December 15, 2011

Auburn Hills, Mich.-based Genisys Credit Union has installed 11 new Diebold deposit automation ATMs, according to a press release.

These depositories enable users to insert cash or checks into the appropriate ATM slot without the need for an envelope. Users are then provided with an image of their check and a denomination breakdown on their receipt for their records.

"Genisys is committed to looking for ways to improve its ATM service, which is why we now have a total of 12 deposit automation ATMs in use," said Chris DeWitt, senior vice president of Member Services.

The ATMs accept either single notes or bundles of notes (up to 30) in different orientations with user-friendly instructions, graphics and touchscreens. Voice guidance is also available with use of a headset to guide users through the transaction if needed.

Genisys is also part of the CO-OP Network, which provides members access to more than 28,000 fee-free ATMs across the country, including more than 5,500 7-Eleven locations.
