GCA gets more casino ATM business

January 30, 2003

LAS VEGAS -- Seneca Niagara Casino and 14 other gaming properties recently signed contracts to use the products and services of Global Cash Access (GCA), a supplier of cash access and customer relationship marketing technologies to the gaming industry.

According to a news release, GCA, which operates more than 1,000 ATMs, recently installed its Automated Cashier Machine (ACM) and QuikCash Plus Web product at Seneca Niagara Casino, a new gaming facility in Niagara Falls, N.Y.

"Our use of GCA's products will streamline our operations and increase business," said Anthony Casdia, director of finance for Seneca Niagara Casino, in the release. "QuikCash Plus Web helps our cashiers process several types of cash access transactions through a single Web-based platform, while the ACM offers multi-functional cash dispensing technology."

According to the release, the ACM is a "smart" ATM that uses the Internet and facial biometrics recognition to offer patrons a way to access multiple cash access services and other entertainment needs without cage operator assistance.

It offers multiple transaction choices, including ATM, debit and credit card cash advance, TeleCheck check guarantee, Western Union money transfer, QuikCredit and Entertainment Source, which provides show information and dispenses tickets.

Patrons can also redeem complimentary offers and receive coupons while using the ACM, according to the release.

In addition to Seneca Niagara, properties that signed agreements with GCA are: Baldini's Sports Casino, Harrah's Convenience Store, the Silver Club and State Line Nugget Hotel & Gambling Hall, all in Nevada; Cadillac Ranch in Longview, Wash.; Cher-Ae Heights Bingo & Casino and Club One, both in California; Mark Twain Casino in LaGrange, Mo.; Napoleon's Casino in London; Resorts Atlantic City and Tropicana Atlantic City, both in Atlantic City, N.J.; Rum Runners Casino in Key West, Fla.; Thunderbird Entertainment in Norman, Okla.; and Turning Stone Casino and Seneca Niagara Casino, both in New York.
