Gasoline retailer to upgrade ATM fleet to meet ADA requirements

June 5, 2011

Cash Transactions LLC today announced that it has signed an agreement with Enmark Stations Inc. to upgrade the company's ATMs to meet 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance requirements.

Enmark Stations, a Savannah, Ga.-based operator of retail gasoline stations, will upgrade ATMs in 38 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, said Jerry Morris, Enmark's director of operations. The company operates 70 locations that sell gas, discount oil and cigarettes, but not all of the stores have ATMs.

Blakely Brown, retail account executive for Cash Transactions, an Austell, Ga.-based ATM solutions provider,  said retailers across the country will have until March 15, 2012 to upgrade their ATM equipment to comply with the new ADA requirements for voice guidance, input controls, height, reach and signage.

CashTrans is authorized to sell and service Wincor Nixdorf, Nautilus Hyosung and Triton ATMs.
