Futurex releases universal interface to host software

BULVERDE, Texas - Futurex Inc., a provider of payment security products for the financial and retail industries, has released Excrypt UI for its line of host security processors.

According to a news release, Excrypt UI is the first fully universal interface to host application software used in financial transaction security for ATM and POS networks.

"Many of our business partners have expressed concerns about their customers being locked into a certain host-security processor-vendor," said Jason Anderson, head of Futurex product development. 

Excrypt UI supports standard interfaces for domestic and international customers.

"At the request of major business partners and customers around the world, Futurex has expanded its application software interface," said Brett Smith, Futurex chief executive officer. "The Excrypt UI is compatible with all the major host application software products sold around the world and supports all common domestic and international messaging formats for PIN translation/verification, key management and EMV."

"The new Excrypt UI is very important for us because it truly separates us from every other host-security processor vendor in the marketplace today," Smith added.
