Fujitsu intros G610, G611 currency recyclers for automated cash distribution

Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc. has announced the release of the G610 and G611 large-capacity multicassette currency recyclers/acceptors.
According to a news release from Fujitsu, the new currency recyclers/acceptors are capable of handing up to 8,000 circulated notes (G610) or 16,000 new notes (G611), helping retailers, financial institutions and other businesses reduce labor costs and human error by automating the currency distribution process.
The G610, which will be displayed and demonstrated next week in Las Vegas during KioskCom, and G611 also offer security and low-maintenance requirements as legacy Fujitsu currency dispenser equipment.
"Our customers select ArcaTech currency recycling solutions because of their established reputation for dependability and low cost-of-ownership. To continue providing the industry with the most complete line of currency recycling units on the market today, it is critical that we use components that meet our stringent performance requirements," said Kirk Nelson, associate vice president of OEM solutions at ArcaTech Systems.
The new solutions offer a flexible front or rear service configuration that can be built into through-the-wall applications. The deposit and recycle cassettes can be configured in any combination, Fujitsu says, from one to four cassettes. The G610, a prototype of the new Fujitsu bill acceptor unit, also will also be on display at the ArcaTech booth during KioskCom. Capable of handling 4,000 notes at a rate of seven notes-per-second, the bulk-note acceptor quickly counts and sorts currency, placing it into a secure removable cassette.
