FTSI signs ATM-servicing contract

July 29, 2010

Financial Technology Solutions International Inc. (FTSI) has signed an agreement to provide servicing to a Vancouver, Wash., credit union’s ATM network.

Monrovia, Calif.-based FTSI Monday signed a multi-year contract to provide first- and second-line servicing to iQ Credit Union’s 28 Diebold Inc. ATMs.

The credit union has deployed the ATMs in nine full-service branches, six high schools and 13 Walgreens drugstores in Washington’s Clark County.

As part of the agreement, iQ Credit Union in 2011 will turn over management of its ATM network to FTSI. The company was founded in 1998 to serve the Hawaiian market, and in 2001 it expanded to California. The agreement with iQ Credit Union marks FTSI’s entry into the Pacific Northwest.

Neither company disclosed the contract’s details.
