Frost Bank, Cardtronics team up to provide ATMs at modernized Dallas Love Field

April 16, 2013

Cardtronics and Frost Bank have expanded their branding relationship with an agreement in which the IAD will install Frost Bank-branded ATMs at the renovated Love Field airport in Dallas. Cardtronics has been the exclusive provider of ATMs to Love Field for 10 years and recently renewed its contract with the City of Dallas, which owns the airport.

Customers of Frost Bank will enjoy surcharge-free access to the Love Field ATMs. With this new addition to its ATM branding program, Frost now offers its customers free ATM access at more than 1,100 machines, including both owned and co-branded ATMs.

"Frost is pleased to offer people who travel through Dallas Love Field a convenient ATM option," said chairman and CEO Dick Evans. "By building on our ATM branding relationship with Cardtronics, Frost is making it more convenient for our customers to access their money when traveling to or from Love Field, while also exposing more people to the Frost brand. Frost now has the third highest number of ATMs in Texas."

Frost Bank is part of Cullen/Frost Bankers Inc., a financial holding company with $23.1 billion in assets. The regional FI boasts branches in Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and the Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio areas.

The Love Field Modernization Program is slated for completion in the fall of 2014. The renewed facility will have a new centralized concourse (as opposed to its current three) with 20 gates, a remodeled lobby, expanded baggage claim area, a new ticketing wing — and six new, Frost Bank-branded ATMs.
