French bank to use Diebold's Opteva in new branch concept

September 14, 2004

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Credit Agricole du Morbihan, part of France's Credit Agricole banking group, has placed an order for the first DieboldOpteva ATMs to be installed in France.

According to a news release, the Opteva 560 units will be installed in the Credit Agricole's new self-serve bank branch concept. At the new branches, basic transactions such as cash deposits and withdrawals will be handled exclusively by the ATM, allowing the bank's staff to concentrate on higher value-added customer services.
