Franklin Synergy Bank opts for ARCA cash recycling

September 5, 2013

Franklin Synergy Bank, a locally owned FI in Franklin, Tenn. with more than $600 million in assets, has chosen the ARCA CM18 cash recycler for its newest branch, according to a news release from ARCA.

The CM18 cash recycler eliminates exposed cash drawers for tellers in branches, storing cash stored inside the unit's UL 291 safe, instead. The machine automatically counts, authenticates and secures cash deposits made by customers.

ARCA CM18 capability provides the branch with reduced transaction times, improved teller accuracy, increased security and more efficient control over their cash inventory, ARCA said in the release.

"We wanted to make the branch environment more efficient," said Kevin Herrington, SVP and COO at Franklin Synergy Bank. "Using automation, software and hardware allows us to reduce the staff required in a branch, thereby decreasing our branch footprint."
