Former NCR head takes chairman's title at HP

The Associated Press:Hewlett-Packard Co. announced earlier this week that Patricia Dunn will step down as chairwoman in January. The announcement comes during the midst of a widening scandal involving a possibly illegal probe into media leaks. She will be succeeded by HP chief executive Mark Hurd, formerly of NCR Corp. Hurd will retain his existing positions as chief executive and president and Dunn will remain as a director.
