September 12, 2002

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Bond R. Isaacson, who headed up development of payments products for Bank of America, has joined transaction processor Concord EFS (Nasdaq: CEFT) as executive vice president reporting to Edward A. Labry III, president.

According to a news release, Isaacson will be responsible for designing payments products for Concord, focusing on untapped payment categories such as small value and recurring payments.

"His well-rounded experience in the electronic payments industry, as a service provider, card
issuer, ATM deployer and merchant banker, will make him a valuable addition to
Concord's management team," said Labry in the release.

Before his stint at BofA, where his responsibilities encompassed merchant services, debit cards, stored value products and ATMs, Isaacson held various senior positions at Visa USA, including executive vice president of the member and merchant sales organization and president of Visa's Internet division (e-Visa). Prior to Visa, he spent nearly two decades at IBM Corporation, with a primary focus on consulting with the financial services industry.
