Fiserv, Community First renew, expand relationship

Fiserv Inc. has announced that Community First Credit Union of Appleton, Wisc. has extended and expanded its relationship with the financial services technology provider. The $1.7 billion credit union has renewed its commitment to the DataSafe account processing platform and has added solutions from the Fiserv portfolio that include Virtuoso for online banking, CheckFree RXP for bill delivery and payments, and Mobiliti  for mobile banking.

DataSafe offers credit unions scalable, integrated account processing technology with flexible deployment options, Fiserv said in a news release. The database within the platform offers a full view of member information across the enterprise.

CheckFree RXP and Mobiliti from Fiserv, offer CU members mobile banking capabilities such as account balance access, an ATM locator and alerts, and payment capabilities. The Mobiliti mobile banking service integrates with the credit union's CheckFree RXP bill payment service, letting customers securely pay bills through their mobile device, Fiserv said.

"As part of the more than 3,000 credit unions that Fiserv serves, Community First will have the ability to provide its members the high degree of flexibility and personalization for their banking experience that consumers everywhere have come to expect," said Mark Sievewright, division president for credit union solutions at Fiserv.

Established in 1975, Community First serves more than 100,000 members through 27 locations, and holds an asset base of $1.7 billion.
