FIS partners with Anthropic for Mythos 5 AI

FIS is partnering with Anthropic to use its Mythos 5 system to improve the security of its critical infrastructure software. This system is a frontier AI tool built for security, according to a press release.

FIS selected Anthropic because its systems are crucial for payments clearing, money movement and core banking, and it needs secure code. It is using Project Glasswing to integrate Mythos 5 as an additional security layer, according to the release.

The company is also working with the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council for intelligence sharing and collaboration on AI for security.
