FIS announces EMV test suite certification by major card schemes

FIS, a provider of financial services technology, recently announced that its EMV contact and contactless terminal integration test solutions have been accredited by four major payment brands.

According to a press release, FIS EMV terminal integration test solutions simplify compliance with global payment standards for deployers migrating to EMV or updating to new specifications.

The solution's incorporated and advanced automation features bridge the gap between development and testing, saving merchants and acquirers a significant amount of time and money, the company said.

Available FIS solutions for EMV terminal integration testing include:

• American Express AEIPS and ExpressPay;
• Discover contact and contactless D-PAS;
• MasterCard contact and contactless M-TIP; and
• Visa ADVT and CDET.

Additionally, FIS is a Discover, MasterCard and Visa CVES-accredited brand service provider, the release said.
