American Eagle is Show-Me State's first CU to add video teller ATMs

May 21, 2014

American Eagle Credit Union, a division of Anheuser-Busch Employees’ Credit Union, has become the first CU in Missouri to deploy ATMs with interactive teller remote video capability.

AECU is calling the drive-up terminals from NCR Corp. “interactive teller machines,” or ITMs, a news release from NCR said.

“The ITMs allow us to serve our members more effectively without affecting the personal service experience they enjoy and expect from us,” said Robert Cotton, AECU VP of branch operations. “The new technology will lower processing costs and provide faster transactions. One service representative can attend to as many four machines at multiple branch locations, enabling the employees at those locations to focus on in-branch member connections.”

AECU plans to install six more ITMs at a new branch in Fenton, Mo., that is set to open this fall.
