First Data honored by the Electronic Transactions Association

The Electronic Transactions Association has named First Data Corp., the nation's largest processor of ATM transactions, Business Partner of the Year.

"We are thrilled to receive Business Partner of the Year from the ETA," said Kim Fitzsimmons, First Data's senior vice president of Merchant Services and Community Banks. "The ETA is a great organization, and we have had a long and successful relationship with them. We appreciate the ETA recognizing us with this prestigious award and look forward to continuing to support them in the future." 

First Data won Business Partner of the Year for its support of ETA, which is based in Washington, D.C. The ETA is an international trade association, which represents companies that offer electronic transactions processing and services.
 
First Data is based in Atlanta, Ga.
