Fime qualified for Cartes Bancaires personalization service

The Fime personalization validation tool has been qualified against the latest Cartes Bancaires PVT requirements, and the company's French laboratory has been accredited by Paycert to perform the corresponding certification services.

The test tool allows issuers, card manufacturers and personalization bureaus to accelerate personalization validation for a range of secure chip products, including contact, contactless and dual interface EMV cards, and NFC and contactless solutions, a press release said.

The PersevalPro issuer test tool, co-developed by Fime and Barnes International, automates the personalization validation testing process and enables testers to mitigate errors ahead of submission for formal certification, Fime said.  

"Across France, we're seeing significant demand for contactless payments solutions," Fime VP Guillaume Labendzki said in the release. "This enhances the consumer experience, but also increases complexities for issuers. This qualification allows issuers to confirm their product's compliance throughout development, minimizing unwanted delays during certification."
