FIME, a provider of payment terminal test tools, and software developer Amadis have formed a technical partnership focused on maintaining and strengthening FIME terminal testing solutions and services.
Amadis already has supported FIME in the development and validation of its cloud-based kernel testing service, a press release said. Now, the company will lend its implementation experience, contact and contactless terminal kernels and acquirer host simulators to refine and confirm the accuracy of the FIME test service prior to market launch.
"As kernel developers, it's great to be able to feed our knowledge into the compliance side of the ecosystem," Amadis Partner Emmanuel Haydont said in the release. "This means the relationship is mutually beneficial; we are supporting FIME in bringing enhanced test services to market and these services make kernel developers' lives easier."
"Our customers highlighted a need for new EMV test services and Amadis was the perfect partner," said Vincent Poty, VP of strategy and marketing at FIME. "The team at Amadis also have a deep knowledge of EMV and were able to provide the resources needed to enable the development, refinement and launch of our cloud-based EMV payment terminal test services. We look forward to a long and productive relationship."
