Fifth Third to run RaceTrac convenience store ATMs

Fifth Third Bancorp has partnered with RaceTrac Petroleum Inc., to provide ATMs at 225 RaceTrac convenience stores in Georgia and Florida. Installation begins this month and should be fiinished by the end of 2013, a news release from the FI said. 

"After working with RaceTrac as a banking client, we realized the potential of expanding this working relationship to benefit RaceTrac and Fifth Third guests alike," said Randy Koporc, president of Fifth Third Bank in Georgia. "We seized the mutually beneficial opportunity to enhance each other's value."

Both partners have locations across Georgia and Florida, and in additional southern states. Fifth Third operates 32 branches in Georgia and 169 in Florida. The bank will install 74 ATMs in Georgia RaceTrac stores and an additional 151 in Florida locations. This is Fifth Third Bank's largest ATM relationship with a convenience store chain.
