Euronet provides ATM software to new Turkish bank

LEAWOOD, Kan. & ISTANBUL, Turkey -- Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (Nasdaq:EEFT), a provider of financial payment middleware, financial network gateways, outsourcing and consulting services to financial institutions and mobile operators, has signed a contract with Turkey's Sitebank A.S. for Euronet's ATM and debit card management software.

Sitebank is a new financial institution set to open in Istanbul, Turkey, in May 2003 with the backing of Banco Comercial Portugues (BCP).

According to a news release, Sitebank plans to implement Euronet ATM and debit card software to manage ATMs throughout Turkey. Sitebank will use Euronet's Integrated Transaction Management system for ATM driving, monitoring and reporting. Euronet Debit Card Management also will enable Sitebank to deploy and manage debit cards and to provide customer assistance, online transaction authorization and offline posting.

"With Euronet's solution, we will give our customers quick card issuance at the branch, ATMs with superb graphics and a powerful set of ATM transactions," said Dimitrios Kyparissis, Sitebank assistant general manager, in the release.

In addition to the new agreement with Turkey's Sitebank the BCP Group of Portugal uses Euronet's ATM network outsourcing services and electronic transaction software at financial institutions in Greece, Macau, Mozambique and Poland.
