September 23, 2008

SOFIA, Bulgaria — Mellon Bulgaria EAD, a member of the Mellon Group of Companies and provider of value-added services and solutions to financial institutions in Bulgaria, has signed with Euronet Bulgaria for the placement of Diebold ATMs at its locations.

"Mellon has partnered with Diebold for almost 10 years now, with over 1,500 units delivered throughout the Balkans region," said Konstantinos Spyropoulos, executive director of Mellon Bulgaria EAD. "Our offering is enriched with a wide range of added value services, including localization, installation, technical support and maintenance, making Opteva ATMs even easier to own. We are very happy that Euronet chose Mellon Bulgaria and the Opteva series to launch its managed ATM network services in Bulgaria, and we are committed in supporting them wherever they need us."

According to a news release, the order marks the operation of Euronet's first managed ATM network in the country.

"Euronet is committed to provide comprehensive ATM operation and management services, and Mellon Bulgaria with Diebold's Opteva ATMs is helping us build our network in Bulgaria with a best value proposition that will enable us to enhance our own offering to our customers, for convenience, cost effectiveness, efficiency and uninterrupted operation," said Igor Jakovljevic, country manager of Euronet Bulgaria.

Mellon Bulgaria introduced Opteva ATMs to the market in 2003 and has been selected by many domestic and foreign banks, such as BNP-Paribas, EFG-Eurobank Bulgaria, Piraeus, Tokuda and UniCredit Bulbank.
