The Copenhagen Post: Thieves used fake debit cards to withdraw more than kr2.5 million (U.S. $430,210) from several Copenhagen ATMs in February. The alleged thieves made 509 withdrawals over three days. The ATMs allowed the transactions because the card system had not been updated. The thieves activated the fake cards by installing a small electronic device in a credit-card reader at a Copenhagen bookstore.
