Enterprise Technology Alliance endorses MoneyPass

December 21, 2004

IRVING, Texas - Enterprise Technology Alliance and Genpass Inc., a U.S. ATM driver and manager of the surcharge-free MoneyPass EFT network, have announced ETA's endorsement of the MoneyPass network, according to a news release.

ETA is a Pennsylvania-based technology-service company that provides core- and item-processing, imaging and ISP, and also operates the surcharge-free "Liberty ATM Alliance."

"Our Liberty ATM Alliance program has served our customers well and will remain unchanged," said Tom Donofrio, ETA's president and chief executive officer. "Our endorsement of MoneyPass - Genpass' nationwide, surcharge-free network - is a natural extension of our program, giving our 16 banks and their approximately 45,000 cardholders surcharge-free access to their funds anywhere in the U.S. … The relationship we have established with Genpass will bring additional products, services and new opportunities to our client banks."

"The endorsement by a quality processor like ETA is extremely valuable," said Douglas D. Anderson, president of the MoneyPass network. "Already, 25 percent of the Liberty ATM Alliance members have joined MoneyPass because of ETA's endorsement, and we look forward to 100 percent participation."

Genpass Inc. is owned and operated by GTCR Golder Rauner LLC, a private equity investment firm that manages more than $6 billion in equity capital invested in companies that provide transaction processing, information-technology services, financial services and marketing services.
