eFunds' ATM branding program continues to grow

January 5, 2004

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - eFunds Corporation (NYSE: EFD), says that the recent addition of California's North Valley Bank Corporation to its ATM branding program increased the number of machines in the program to more than 7,500.

"Our partnership with eFunds allows us to extend the customer equity we have built to multiple off-premise locations, and it offers our customers the convenient access they demand and deserve," said Jack Richter, chief operating officer of North Valley Bancorp, in a news release.

North Valley Bank and Six Rivers Bank, North Valley Bancorp's two subsidiary banks, operate 20 commercial banking offices between them, according to the release.

eFunds' branding program, in which financial institutions pay a fee to offer their customers surcharge-free access and add their brand to eFunds' ATMs, enables participating FIs to increase their brand presence as well as availability of surcharge-free ATM access to their customers. "eFunds' expertise as the nation's largest deployer of ATMs and related services offers financial institutions the opportunity to expand their brand footprint, reach more of their customers and ultimately gain operational efficiencies in their day-to-day businesses," said Gregg Zastrow, eFund's vice president of product.
