LAS VEGAS - California-based Educational Employees Credit Union has launched several Imagecenter modules from Florida-based TWS Systems Inc., including TWS's Omega, a Microsoft.NET-based ATM deposit management solution that automates the processing and management, according to a news release. Another TWS product implemented by EECU is Alertmanager, a real-time fraud prevention solution, the release added.
EECU has more than 125,000 members and $1 billion in assets, according to the release.
According to the release, EECU's continued growth, led management to seek a more efficient way to process its ATM balancing, which had previously been done manually. Using Alertmanager and Omega will help to reduce fraud incidences coming into the credit union while improving overall efficiency.
Since the implementation, Omega users have reported a 70 percent reduction in manual data input, while Alertmanager reportedly has helped cut ATM deposit fraud in some of the nation's largest credit unions by more 60 percent, the release added.
"We continue to enhance the capabilities of our Imagecenter suite, knowing that credit unions need a solution that accommodates the evolving landscape of transaction processing in this image-driven era," said Milton King, president of TWS. "Credit unions need a system to eliminate fraud, but also enhance transaction processing for the entire institution."
