LAS VEGAS -- eConnect and Telemax are progressing in the development of the PocketPay, a wireless device which will enable consumers to effect e-commerce transactions from their pocket.
The system will allow users to load smart cards, credit cards and ATM cards into the memory of the PocketPay, which can then be used to conduct mobile data e-commerce transactions. PocketPay also can be used as a wireless voice phone.
The consumer can conduct wireless same-as-cash pay-per-play gaming transactions which will be serviced by eConnect. Mobile e-commerce business transactions will also be enabled by PocketPay transactions.
Telemax will provide the wireless line carriage of the PocketPay to the ET & T bank host which will drive PocketPay mobile e-commerce data transactions.
