EAST to host Financial Crime & Security Forum

May 22, 2013

The European ATM Security Team Ltd. will present the first EAST Financial Crime & Security Forum on June 13–14 in the World Forum at the Hague. The event is being co-hosted by EAST and LiquidNexxus Ltd., a provider of training in payment systems, risk and security, ICT, and compliance.

Though EAST is a regional group, the forum is designed as an international event, given that organized crime has a global perspective.

Speakers at the forum will include a wide range of well respected industry experts on ATM risk and security issues, with an agenda that covers topics such as regional card blocking, malware and cybersecurity, reverse-engineering attacks, chip compromise, emerging skimming threats and more. According to an announcement by EAST, topics will bring attendees "right up to date with current ATM crime trends, threats and countermeasures."

The forum will also present an opportunity to network with EAST National and Associate Members (including ATM deployers, networks and other industry stakeholders), and with specialist law enforcement officers and forensic analysts.

Further agenda details and registration information are available at the EAST FCS 2013 webpage.
