Dual-bin collection expands Cummins Allison self-service coin counter options

Cummins Allison, a provider of ATMs and coin, currency and check processing technology, has expanded its Money Machine 2 self-service coin counter options with the addition of a dual-bin coin collection unit. The Money Machine 2 coin counter features a combined total capacity of 140,000 mixed coins, and is the only self-service coin machine to offer four coin collection options, the company said in a news release.

Collection options include:

• bag capture in 16-bag units (78,000 coins);
• bag capture in 8-bag units (36,000 coins);
• single-bin unit (70,000 mixed coins); and
• dual-bin unit (140,000 mixed coins).

“The addition of a dual-bin unit ensures continuous processing for coin intensive operations, while reducing coin pickup costs,” said Cummins Allison Vice President Jim Weaks. 

Cummins Allison offers four procurement options with varying returns:

• ownership;
• lease;
• rental; and
• placement.
