Digital Donations, ATM operators partner to support Heart Month

February 7, 2017

Digital Donations Inc., a provider of an integrated technology that enables the solicitation of donations at ATMs and e-payment channels, has launched a nationwide campaign with its ATM partners in observance of American Heart Association Heart Month.

Heart Month has been designated by the federal government as a time for all Americans to focus on heart health.

Through February, consumers can make tax-deductible charitable donations at participating ATMs as they conduct everyday transactions such as cash withdrawal, account balance and account inquiry.

American Heart Month is one of many observances supported on the Digital Donations platform, said Keith Orlean, president, Digital Donations, in a press release.

"With a growing network of thousands of locations in all 50 states, we will be featuring a participating nonprofit each month," he said. "February's Heart Month will be the first in a series of monthly fundraising drives designed specifically to highlight a participating charity. As we continue to add locations, our ability to increase awareness and needed funds will have a lasting impact for our charitable partners."

Other charities working with Digital Donations include the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, Champions for Kids, The Humane Society, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and United Charitable, a company that sponsors targeted charitable programs that effect positive change.
