LONDON - Fortis Bank Netherlands N.V. has become the 25th financial institution in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region to purchase ATMs from Diebold's new Opteva ATM family, which was introduced in March 2003.
According to a news release, more than 1,500 units have now been sold to banks across EMEA.
Clients that have chosen Opteva include: Credit Agricole (France), Fortis Bank Netherlands N.V. (Netherlands), National Bank of Greece, Banque et Caisse d'epargne de l'etat (Luxembourg), Raiffeisenbank (Russia), Kazcommertsbank (Kazakhstan), Standard Bank (South Africa), and Alrajhi and National Commercial Bank (Saudi Arabia).
The Opteva family includes: Opteva 720 advanced-function lobby ATM, Opteva 760 advanced-function through-the-wall walk-up ATM, Opteva 520 lobby cash dispenser, Opteva 560 through-the-wall walk-up cash dispenser, Opteva 740 advanced-function through-the-wall drive-up ATM and Opteva 750 advanced-function island drive-up ATM.
