NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Diebold Inc. (NYSE: DBD) recently held its 2005 Seventh Annual International Partner Information Xchange conference, a global technology education and information seminar.
Robert W. Mahoney, chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and retired Diebold chairman and chief executive, kicked off PIX with a keynote address that touched on governance of the Federal Reserve Bank and new strategies to improve profitability for shareholders with new product offerings for retail and business customers.
Deposit automation, IFX and multivendor software strategies were just a few of the industry topics discussed. Additionally, the PIX conference included guest speakers from Microsoft and KeyBank.

Originally chartered to serve as Diebold's central points of contact for industry suppliers, PIX has grown to more than 85 members and is a successful partner program in the industry.
