NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Diebold, Incorporated is working with Hitachi to develop new and advanced cash recycling technology to incorporate into its new Opteva ATM platform.
According to a news release, the two companies intend to integrate their technologies to provide deposit automation, automatic sorting and banknote recycling in addition to standard cash dispensing.
"Our relationship with Hitachi leverages the many technological synergies between our respective companies," said Danny O'Brien, Diebold's senior vice president of Global Product Marketing. "We're excited about working with a technology leader like Hitachi to create an entirely new cash recycling platform with advanced technology."
