NORTH CANTON, Ohio – Diebold Inc. announced in a news release that JPMorgan Chase & Co. (Chase) is expected to deploy more than 1,300 Opteva ATMs in its network. The ATMs will be used in new branch and off-premise locations, as well as for the replacement of existing machines. Chase has a network of more than 7,100 ATMs in 19 states.

The deal includes Opteva cash dispensers and advanced-function terminals as well as an associated service agreement.
"A fast, standardized and reliable customer experience is critical to the success of our ATM channel, and Diebold's product line helps us effectively deliver service to our customers," said Patrick Wright, senior vice president of Chase's Retail Operations.
Chase also launched a pilot of Diebold's deposit-automation technology that included Diebold's intelligent depository module and bulk note acceptor at its operations center in Columbus, Ohio.
