Diebold Nixdorf to file for bankruptcy

Diebold Nixdorf Inc. has announced it will file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as part of a restructuring deal reported yesterday, according to a Cleveland.com report.

The company will file for Chapter 11 protection in a Texas court and will undergo a similar process in the Netherlands, according to a company spokesperson.

Octavio Marquez, CEO, said the company is committed to keeping its Hudson, Ohio global headquarters and continue to invest in its North Canton manufacturing facility.
