Diebold fine-tunes SecureStat with new analytics, efficiency features
The security management portal now features more effective data analysis and workflow management tools for commercial and financial security professionals.

Diebold Inc. has expanded the capabilities of its security management portal SecureStat, adding security data analytics and advanced workflow management for enhanced security and enterprise-wide efficiency, the company said in a press release.
SecureStat now features a dynamic business data analytics engine that enables companies to more effectively analyze and investigate security- and business-related activities. Additionally, users can now manage monitoring, security operations and business processes from a single source using the system's new workflow management system.
SecureStat is a centralized Web-based security management system. It provides an online security portal and customizable dashboard that helps multisite commercial and financial customers manage their security operations regionally, nationally and globally.
The integration of business analytics into the SecureStat dashboard facilitates the examination of data related to alarms, monitoring, services, installations and asset management within a single interface. The ability to view this information dynamically in real time helps organizations arrive at actionable information in security investigations and predictive operations, the company said.
SecureStat dynamic data-sorting turns vast amounts of alarm, security operations and business data into variables to help an enterprise investigate correlations and identify trends.
With business data from multiple systems integrated into the platform, an organization can get closer to predictive models for the maintenance, service and replacement of security devices.
The new SecureStat workflow management system streamlines security and business processes related to monitoring schedule changes, access permissions, PIN changes and more.
Using the SecureStat workflow management system, any authorized party can complete requests using menus customized to the organization and then efficiently track the receipt, progress and completion of requests from a single dashboard.

"SecureStat's business analytics capabilities leverage the Internet-of-Things connectedness of today's security technologies.
