SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Ariba Inc., a spend-management solutions provider, has expanded its relationship with Diebold Inc.
According to a news release, Diebold aims to cut its cost-structure by $100 million, with Ariba's help, through 2008.

Rager, Diebold's director of enterprise spend-management. "Through Ariba's unique blend of technology, commodity expertise and services, we have been able to accelerate and increase the value of procurement to the organization and drive sustainable savings. We will continue to leverage their solutions to build on our success and further speed the pace with which we deliver results."
Diebold launched its spend-management program in 2000 with Ariba.
